Not only are these individuals dealing with the new reality of day-to-day issues of life, but they are in positions of now having to "burden" their adult children who are desperate for ways to keep their parents safe and their minds stimulated - while trying to maintain their own work schedules.
Miami Gardens Adult Day Care Center provides the answer with an environment that is nurturing and active. Our adult day care features activities and social programs such as: crafts, games, music and pet therapy, movies, performances, exercise classes, manicures and pedicures and field trips. We also have an annual fashion show, various family events to bring the generations together, and support group meetings.
Each participant receives breakfast, a hot lunch and a nutritious snack which meets the Federal standards for a balanced senior diet. Transportation can be arranged at a nominal fee or arranged with Special Transportation Services of Miami-Dade County.
